Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy

1. Purpose

Platinum Sound respects the intellectual property rights of artists, creators, copyright owners, trademark holders, publishers, record labels, licensors, and other rights holders. This Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy establishes the rules governing the use, upload, distribution, display, streaming, sale, promotion, licensing, and monetization of content through the Platinum Sound platform. By accessing, using, uploading content to, or distributing content through Platinum Sound, all users agree to comply with this Policy, our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and all applicable intellectual property laws.

2. Ownership of Content

Users retain ownership of intellectual property rights in content they lawfully own and upload to Platinum Sound. By uploading content, the user represents, warrants, and certifies that:

• •They own all rights, title, and interest in the content; or
• •They possess all necessary licenses, permissions, consents, authorizations, and legal rights required to upload, distribute, stream, sell, promote, monetize, and otherwise use the content on Platinum Sound;
• •The content does not infringe or violate any third-party rights;
• •The content does not contain unauthorized samples, recordings, compositions, trademarks, images, likenesses, voices, performances, artwork, or other protected materials.

Users bear sole legal responsibility for all content they upload, publish, distribute, or monetize through the platform.

4. AI-Generated Content

Users who upload AI-generated or AI-assisted content represent and warrant that:

• •They possess all necessary rights to the generated material;
• •The content does not infringe upon third-party intellectual property rights;
• •The content does not unlawfully imitate, clone, replicate, or misappropriate another person's protected voice, likeness, identity, or copyrighted works.

Platinum Sound reserves the right to remove AI-generated content that may present intellectual property concerns or legal risks.

5. Copyright Complaint Procedure

If you believe content available through Platinum Sound infringes your copyright or intellectual property rights, you may submit a written notice containing:

• •Description of the copyrighted work
• •Description and location of the allegedly infringing material
• •Good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized
• •Statement made under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate

6. Content Removal Rights

Platinum Sound reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to:

• •Suspend or restrict platform access
• •Terminate accounts
• •Report unlawful activity to appropriate authorities

Platinum Sound may act upon complaints, internal reviews, legal requests, court orders, regulatory requirements, or any information suggesting a violation of this Policy.

7. Repeat Infringer Policy

Platinum Sound maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward repeat intellectual property violators. Users who repeatedly engage in copyright infringement, trademark infringement, unauthorized distribution, content piracy, or misappropriation of intellectual property may have their accounts permanently terminated without refund. Platinum Sound reserves the right to deny future account creation by repeat offenders.

8. Platform License

By uploading content, users grant Platinum Sound a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license solely to:

• •Host, store, and reproduce content
• •Stream and display content
• •Distribute and promote content
• •Operate platform features and services

This license exists only to provide and operate Platinum Sound services and does not transfer ownership of user content.

9. No Duty to Monitor

Platinum Sound is not obligated to actively monitor all uploaded content and does not guarantee that infringing material will be identified immediately. However, Platinum Sound reserves the right to review, investigate, remove, restrict, or disable content at any time. Users acknowledge that Platinum Sound acts solely as a technology platform and content-hosting service and is not the creator, publisher, producer, owner, or distributor of user-generated content.

10. Indemnification

Users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Platinum Sound, its owners, officers, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, successors, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, expenses, judgments, settlements, fines, penalties, and attorneys' fees arising from uploaded content, alleged intellectual property violations, copyright or trademark claims, rights of publicity claims, licensing disputes, user misconduct, or violations of this Policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Platinum Sound shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, exemplary, special, or economic damages arising from user-generated content or alleged intellectual property violations committed by users. Platinum Sound's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user to Platinum Sound during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Reservation of Rights

Platinum Sound reserves all rights not expressly granted under this Policy. We may modify, update, suspend, or replace this Policy at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any revised version.
